This atlas serves as a fourth volume and color component to Ryan's Retina, 2e, to illustrate the various medical/retinal disorders and their pathologies. The combination of 4/c clinical photography, fluorescein angiography, and 4/c histopathological pictures supported by black white schematics, contributes to a thorough illustration of the retinal disease process. In particular, the histopathology will serve to explain the genesis of the various retinal diseases found in the clinical photographs. This atlas is the first to publish Indocyanine Green Angiography (ICG) findings, a technique developed by Guyer and Yannuzzi for diagnosing and treating macular degeneration - the leading cause of blindness in the western world.
